Common questions

The scanner didn’t recognise a product

Most packaged products are covered, but new or regional items sometimes aren’t. Snap a photo of the nutrition label and Sour will read the numbers straight from the panel. If it’s still off, email us the product name — adding it helps everyone.

My streak looks wrong

Streaks are forgiving by design — one sugary day won’t reset you to zero. If something still looks off, make sure the app is up to date and that your days are syncing, then get in touch.

Free trial & subscription

Sour starts with a 3-day free trial, then continues as a monthly or annual subscription. You can manage, switch plans, or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings — cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.

Account & data requests

Want a copy of your data, or want it deleted? You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Delete account, or email privacy@getsour.app and we’ll take care of it. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
